Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Weather Vane Tuition!
These Terms & Conditions outline how we work together to make sure lessons run smoothly for everyone. By booking a session, you agree to the following terms:

1. Booking & Payment

All lessons must be booked in advance.
Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
Payments can be made via bank transfer or PayPal

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson will be charged at the full session rate.
In the rare event that Weather Vane Tuition needs to cancel, you’ll be offered a full refund or a rescheduled lesson at no extra cost.

3. Lateness

If a student is late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.
If the tutor is late, extra time will be added to the lesson or the time will be credited to a future session.

4. Conduct & Learning Environment

Lessons are designed to be positive, supportive, and tailored to the student’s learning style.
We ask that students come prepared, with all necessary materials, and ready to focus.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to maintain open communication about progress and goals.

5. Online Lessons

Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free space.
In the event of technical difficulties, lessons may be rescheduled at the tutor’s discretion.
All sessions will take place over Google Meets, unless otherwise arranged

6. Refunds

Refunds are not available once a lesson has taken place.
For block bookings, refunds will only be issued for unused lessons with at least 24 hours’ notice before the next scheduled session.

7. Safeguarding & Privacy

All tutors follow safeguarding best practices and maintain strict confidentiality regarding student information.
Personal data is stored securely and used only for tuition-related purposes.
