Lesson Plans & Pricing

At Weather Vane Tuition, lessons are booked in gentle rhythms- five, ten, or fifteen at a time- designed to build steady progress and genuine confidence.

(All prices are for individual sessions; small-group lessons are available at a reduced rate per student.)

The Focus Plan– £75 per hour

A short series of five lessons, perfect for refining an essay, preparing for an exam, or regaining academic confidence.
Ideal for students seeking direction or a creative reset.

The Growth Plan– £70 per hour

Ten lessons designed for consistent progress. We’ll build skills week by week, combining rigour with curiosity, encouraging depth of knowledge, with space to develop ideas over time.
Recommended for term-time study and longer projects.

The Mentorship Plan– £65 per hour

A fifteen-lesson journey for students who want sustained development and accountability. Ideal for ongoing academic support or creative development.

The Yearly Plan– £250 per month

A continuing mentorship that guarantees four lessons per month (48 per year), billed monthly with a four-month minimum commitment. Includes priority booking and consistent, year-round support.
For students and families seeking structure, long-term support, and creative continuity throughout the year.

Cancellations & Scheduling

Life can be unpredictable & we always want to be as flexible as possible. If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, I just ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so that the time can be offered to another student.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson, without the lesson being rescheduled to a different time, are charged in full, unless due to an emergency.

Should I ever need to reschedule, I’ll give as much notice as possible and offer a convenient alternative.

For those on the Yearly Path, lessons can be rearranged within the month but cannot be carried over into future months, unless the cancellation is from the tutor’s end.

Payments & Refunds

Payment for individual or block lessons is due in advance, at the time of booking. This secures your place and allows me to plan lessons with the care and detail they deserve.

For block bookings (five, ten, or fifteen lessons), payment covers the full set and is non-refundable once lessons have begun, though dates can be rearranged with notice.

For Yearly Path subscriptions, payment is made every four months. This plan secures a full year of lessons at a reduced rate and guarantees your monthly time slot. Subscriptions last minimum four-months, though lessons within each month can be rescheduled where possible.

All payments are handled securely. In the rare event that I must cancel a session and cannot offer a suitable alternative, that lesson will be refunded or credited in full.
